On October 16th 2015, Pfactor Srl got his OHSAS Certification, regarding safety in the workplace.
The acronym OHSAS (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) identifies an international standard management system, concerning Safety and Occupational Health. Risk is often considered as a negative factor, but if it is managed in the right manner and following OHSAS 18001 standards and guidelines, it is possible to benefit of safer working conditions. This may push the company towards an increase of performances and an improvement of new business opportunities.
The word “Safety” derives from the Latin language word-association “sine-cura”, which means “without worries”. It may also be interpreted as “the knowledge of the fact, that the evolution of a system will not produce undesirable situations “. In simpler terms, it is the certainty that our actions, will not cause damages.
